Maybull Eating Turkey Sequence

Here is a sequence of pictures showing Maybull's extraordinary ability to focus on people food. My husband actually does still have all his fingers, despite what the one picture may indicate! Please excuse her hot spots--Bulldogs have a tendency to have skin issues, and Maybull is no exception.

Amy's Thanks giving Day

I selected the following 3 pictures to represent my Thanksgiving.

Atonement is the picture of the running shoes to represent the hour I spent at the gym today on the treadmill to atone for the upcoming carbs & calorie gorging later on in the day. I used a macro lens to shoot the picture outside.

Get a Leg Up is our featured dinner guest for the day. Once again I used a macro lens with flash.

Anticipation is our Bulldog about to eat some of our featured dinner guest. Fortunately Maybull only got a bite of turkey and not part of my husband's hand! I used flash on this picture so I could use a fast enough shutter speed to not cause blur if she moved quickly. Unfortunately that resulted in what I think are distracting shadows.

Macro Sunday

Macro Picture From Class

This is a macro picture taken in our class last Wednesday of a small figurine of an otter. I used the extension tubes that Barbra brought in. I was pretty impressed by how close in I was able to get--this is the real picture, not a cropped picture.
